My character would sometimes get stuck in a shooting position when using guns since the R2 button was so worn out it'd randomly press down on itself for no reason. Or just go to the controls in duckstation select the controller and on the top it says controller type just click the drop down menu and choose digital controller and it will change the layout to be without analog sticks.
